  43. WWW Index Wizard V 2.10   (W3IW)

  45. Index HTML documents effortlessly
  46.  
  47. WWW Index Wizard automates the indexing of HTML documents 
  48. to save the user time and effort. 
  49. The way it works is this: 
  50. Web pages or other HTML documents are fed into the program, 
  51. and it creates either one document, multiple documents, or 
  52. a directory tree that includes a full index of every word 
  53. in the original documents. Alternatively, the user can 
  54. designate words for the Wizard to ignore (e.g., the, a, 
  55. or an) or specific keywords to seek out. The index is a 
  56. list of the searched words, and each word links directly 
  57. to its location (page and chapter) in the original documents.

  75. The program is distributed as shareware (see also the shareware license 
  76. agreement below)

  80. Shareware distribution gives users a chance to try software before buying it.

  180. You may use the shareware version of WWW Index Wizard for a 30 day trial
  181. period.  If you would like to continue to use WWW Index Wizard after the
  182. 30 day trial period, you are required to register WWW Index Wizard.

  184. When you purchase the appropriate license for WWW Index Wizard you will receive
  185. the registration key which entitles you to use the program according the terms
  186. of a registered program.

  190. One registered copy of bMAD WWW Index Wizard may either be used by a single
  191. person who uses the software personally on one or more computers, or installed on a
  192. single workstation used non-simultaneously by multiple people, but not both.
  193. The registered version of bMAD WWW Index Wizard may be accessed through a
  194. network, and/or used by more than one person of one and the same company provided
  195. that a company license was registered.
  196. Publishing files generated by bMAD WWW Index Wizard on the Internet and/or on
  197. CD-ROM requires registering a publisher license.

  203. G.) Installation Procedure:
  204.     ========================
  205. Before you can use WWW Index Wizard you have to run the WWW Index Wizard
  206. setup program from Windows so it will work properly on your computer.
  207. You cannot just copy the files from the WWW Index Wizard archive file to 
  208. your hard disk.  The files in the distribution archive are packed in a 
  209. special way to save space.  
  210. The setup program unpacks those files and builds them on your working disk.
  211.  
  212. 1. Extract all files from w3iw21.zip into a temporary location, 
  213.  
  214. 2. Review also the other documents such as RelNotes.txt, License.txt etc.
  215.  
  216. 3. To install WWW Index Wizard run setup.exe (look for setup.exe in the 
  217.    temporary location where the files have been extracted to)
  218.  
  219.  
  220. 4. Setup.exe will guide you through the installation process.
  221.  
  222.  Remark:
  223.    The Setup program may require to update some system files in
  224.    order to run. This is due to the nature of the Windows Operating system
  225.    and it's dependencies on certain versions of system files.
  226.    You may also be requested to restart windows. 
  227.    With Windows NT you may have to run setup with administrator
  228.    privileges if system files have to be replaced (updated).

  230.    We appologize for inconveniences but cannot avoid such events.

  233. 5. After installation you may want to remove the files in the
  234.    temporary location manually.

  238. (We are using Install Shield Express for the installation procedure)

  240. Besides the program w3iw21.exe the help and some data files the 
  241. installation procedure will install VB 6.0 SP3 runtime libraries
  242. and Jet 3.51 database access libraries (system files
  243. of the Microsoft Visual Basic 6.0 runtime environment)
  244. and a third party ASM library STAMIN32.DLL.

  247. H.) Unistallation procedure:

  250. Open Add/Remove Programs in Settings-Control Panel
  251. then look for an entry like WWW Index Wizard.
  252. Double click it and the program and it's associated
  253. files will be removed.

  256. I.) Getting help:

  259. Press the Help button or double click on w3iw21.hlp.
  260.  
  261. With WWW Index Wizard a context sensitive help will be installed.
  262. Move the mouse pointer above the item in question and press F1 to
  263. get an appropriate help text (what's this help is available throughout
  264. the program - use it at your discretion).
